What is summarizing?

Why did we have to choose 'correctly' between words that were of equal importance in a given text, or else we'd lose marks?

Why did the pattern of limitation shift with the variation of teachers?
Why were the determinants of what parts of a text were ‘more important’ than the other parts of that text *unclear*?

Why was there no one formula to this one goal that 30 students were supposed to achieve similarly?

Vague, were the essentials for this seemingly foundational process of story telling and re telling.

were summaries specific enough based on each individual text?

Did the limiting ‘pattern’ of summarizing stay true for every context?

Was the process as dynamic as that which it was attempting to collect within itself?


Why did I have to foresee the words each teacher wanted to see
All the way through University?

Why where ‘summaries’ all that we could ever study?

Censored, is a better name for them to me.
